The Whistling Kettle, the capital regions #1 tea supplier has a growing ecommerce and product sales division with future growth aimed to expand our market share and brand recognition. Located near the Albany warehouse district, we are seeking a dynamic professional that can handle the assorted duties that keep our tea operations "brewing"!
 
Job Summary

  • As a manager of our e-commerce team, you will supervise website operations, tea production, shipping & receiving, marketing and customer support team
  • Identify product sales trends and opportunities, seek out new lines of revenue (both B2C & B2B)
  • Manage shipping, receiving, supplies and inventory replenishment
  • Work with creative team to implement marketing campaigns
  • Create content for SEO and collaborate with our marketing agencies
  • Supervise and train our staff following established guidelines and procedures
  • Approve timesheets, manage schedules and conduct corrective actions, reviews, etc.
  • Physical premises cleanliness, organization and maintenance
Requirements

  • Must have thorough background with Shopify or other e-commerce system
  • Must be comfortable troubleshooting both software issues & physical equipment 
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and related software preferred
  • Must be organized, clean and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and projects
  • Applicants with prior team management experience preferred

Compensation: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
